12 Angry men (1957)

Director: Sidney Lumet

Starring: Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb, Ed Begley, E.G. Marshall, Jack Warden

Synopsis: Dudes rock, legal edition! It’s a hot summer afternoon in New York, baby, and the jury boys are ready to mete out some Big Apple justice, i.e. sentence a young person of color to death. But Juror 8 (Henry Fonda) ruins it by embracing the whole “reasonable doubt” thing. Now he’s got to convince a room full of men with opinions (weird!) that the accused might be innocent! Featuring Lee J. Cobb as "Your Friend’s Scary Dad” and Jack Warden as “Sports Guy Who’s Good at Hats!"

The Episode

We recall 12 Angry Men (1957), a film featuring men, sweat, tension, and reflection. We wanted to watch a good movie, so we did. We discuss piglet, being horny for justice, and ska music. It all makes sense in context.
